The Ultrasound Sonographer must be clinically competent; takes images of various portions of the body to assist medical officers in diagnosis of diseases and anomalies. The Sonographer has to have a good working knowledge of cross sectional anatomy. They have to have the ability to distinguish between normal and abnormal anatomy during ultrasound exams.
